Keimyung University

Located at Daegu, South Korea

Founded in 1954, Keimyung University has 28,000 students spread over 3 campuses in city Daegu. They are: Daemyeong in downtown area, Seongseo in western part of the city, and Dongsan campus which includes Dongsan Medical Center. The University was chosen as an Advancement for College Education (ACE) university by the Korean government's Ministry of Education, Science and Technology in 2011.  

Keimyung gained status of a University from a College in 1978. In 1980, the university merged with the Dongsan Presbyterian Hospital and re-opened as Keimyung University Medical Center.

Keimyung University offers 99 majors in its 19 undergraduate colleges and 2 faculties, as well as 9 graduate schools. The following are the colleges:

1. College of Business Administration (Business Administration, Accounting, Hotel & Tourism, Management Information System and Tax) 
2. College of Social Science (Economics and Finance, Internation Commerce and E-Trade)
3. Keimyung Adams College (International Business and International Relations) 
4. Others : College of Humanities, College of International Studies, College of Education, College of Law and Plice Sciences, College of Natural Science, College of Environment, College of Engineering, School of Medicine, College of Pharmacy, College of Nursing, College of Music and Performing Arts, College of Fine Arts, College of Fashion, College of Physical Education, College of Architectural Studies and College of Liberal Education 

 

Keimyung University has 277 exchange agreements with universities in 49 countries. The University boasts one of the most extensive international networks among Korean universities, offering more than 27% of courses in English. The University does not have any collaboration with Singapore institutions and is keen to work with NYP.
